Namibian Primary Schools, Namibian Secondary Schools and Namibian Chess Academies. Each School/Academy may register a Maximum of 2 Open Teams with an option of a 3rd All Girls Team. A Team consists of four (4) Players from the same school/academy. Plyers must be under 20 Years of Age.

The African Chess Confederation (ACC) and the Egyptian Chess Federation will be hosting the championships at the Guard Hotel, Cairo the Capital City of Arab Republic of Egypt. Namibia has sent off our representatives!

Namibia National Olympic Committee (NNOC) president Abner Xoagub, Joined the Namibia Chess Federation 2023 Sport Expo stall, where he challenged the NCF President and the current Under 8 Girl Champion to some Chess games. Mr. Xoagub also conducted some interviews on behalf of the Namibia Chess Federation.

The Namibian Chess Federation (NCF) is the overall governing body of the chess sport code in Namibia. It was established in 1991. It is responsible for :
- The selection of National Teams both Junior and Senior
- Organizing and Regulating Chess Sport Events throughout Namibia
- Promoting Fair Play and Administering FIDE Rules and Regulations.
- Training and Capacity building for its members.
